On display is the powerful and monumental sculpture Für Paul Celanby Anselm Kiefer, an artist of international renown and a leading figure on the contemporary art scene.
The work is dedicated to the poet Paul Celan and highlights the ethical-intellectual action that drives Kiefer: the need for an art that can represent every side of existence, including the horror of the Holocaust, to recover memory and build a renewed awareness in the present, both individual and collective.
