As part of the first edition of Incontra - Festival delle Relazoni, promoted by the cultural association Progetto Giovani, the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona presented a live set by Audio Chemicals, a live techno improvisation project with Middle Eastern vibes.
Using samplers, drum machines and analogue hardware, the performance used samples of rituals, chants and ceremonies from the Turkish and Arab world, to envelop the audience in a series of frenetic beats, noise swathed in desert dust and soundscapes.
