Conceived and organized by Teatro Scientifico – Teatro Laboratorio as part of the Non c'è differenza Festival, an intensive workshop led by the artist Felice Tagliaferri with the students of the two-year course in Atelier Direction - Cultural Mediation of Art of the Academy, aiming to develop their tactile ability, both as a particular form of exploration and as an aid to learning.
A path through the tactile channel to allow an intense and authentic sensitive experience to mature, in relation to the imaginative visions of the things of the external world, internal to each one.
The educational workshop, offering episodes of work without the use of sight, is aimed to symbolically recreate the condition of disadvantage in which some people find themselves.
Felice Tagliaferri collaborates with the Museo Tattile Statale Omero, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, the Vatican Museums, the Brera Academy, the Academy of Rome and the Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
He is among the protagonists of Candido Cannavò's book "E li chiamano disabili" ("And they call them disabled", Rizzoli 2005) and Mauro Marcantoni's book "I ciechi non sognano il buio" ("The blind don’t dream of darkness", Franco Angeli 2008). Adina Pugliese dedicated to him a chapter of her book "L’arte è utile. Comunque bella" ("Art is useful. At least, it’s beautiful"). He was also mentioned in several newspapers and television broadcasts. He received degrees from the Art Academies of Brera Bologna, Urbino, Carrara and the Third University of Rome.
