Ten years after the earthquake that destroyed the historic center of L'Aquila, a day of study has been organized, promoted by the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona with the participation of various specialists and Italian institutions responsible for the restoration of artistic and architectural heritage.

Between theory and practice, thanks to the involvement of restorers, architects, engineers, art historians and geologists, different solutions were illustrated for the prevention of seismic damage and the restoration of damaged monuments, with securing the recovered elements and analyzing, from different points of view, the damages, the methodologies of approach and the critical technical and management issues encountered in the numerous seismic events that have affected the Italian peninsula in recent years.
