Colognola ai Colli, Verona
Collaboration with the Municipality of Colognola ai Colli for a project of urban requalification of Piazza del Donatore in the town of San Zeno.
The project stems from the need to create an urban landmark for the local community and surrounding areas and, at the same time, pay homage to the personality and work of Luigi Sandri, the town’s historic parish priest.
The students of the Urban Design courses and the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona were involved in a competition of ideas with the elaboration of a series of sketches characterized by small-scale interventions and full of symbolism.
An exhibition held at the Town Hall of Colognola ai Colli aimed at telling the story of the project and involving the citizens in the evaluation of the winning proposal.
